Later Where the F$#@ is winter? Has been a record high for the half year and I'm not complaining! But I am weirdly missing the cold south westerly flow that brings snow , sleet and pumping waves to our piece of coast.! Still June produced its fair share of waves and I managed to be on the spot for a few of them , so here's the latest from the southern coast. Later Rights were the pick this day. Has been some killer sunrises this month , and the water is still not bad ! Love a good mission! Even when it doesn't go totally to plan! See You Swell swell swell !! Winter arrived in a hell of hurry this month mind you bout time! The south was flooded with swells one after another but sporadic winds made it hard to be in the right place at the right time. Probably surfed a bit more than I photographed this month which is a constant dilemma . Here's a couple from May , long weekend coming up and looks like a bit of swell to so mite see you out somewhere..... Later Plenty of water time this month ,so stoked about it! Unseasonably good weather and plenty of swell was the theme of April , and whilst work ended any chance I had of shooting Papas when it roared to life I did manage to snag a bunch of other waves and shots. The end of April marked the end of my wedding season freeing up more time to hunt waves and find light , cheers to all the couples and wedding parties I have meet and hung out with for the day ! Whilst the good weather continues (which I'm grateful for) I am hanging out for the crisp winter swells , screaming southerly's and small crowds ! The Colac Bay classic was on again so a mission into southland was on! One of the friendliest and well run contests to be involved with , we were greeted with clean couple of foot swell in the morning with the wind wrecking havoc by late arvo. You can find the results here https://www.facebook.com/www.southlandboardridersclub.co.nz/ The end of daylight savings and summer brings mixed emotions , on one hand the cold shorter days can be frustrating but on the other big sw swells and offshore winds help me get over it! Later Justin on a bomb Colac Bay Classic Cracker morning for the first heat of the day Smoothed water at home Good times. Bad times Jared all smiles Morning blasting Some killer skys lately Check Last light last wave
February was hot! Awesome to see big yellow out in force this month , even the water temp is off its head! Plenty on this month , Farm jam was a killer event to shoot and was enjoyed by a solid crowd. The cyclone fizzed down here but I hear the north coast had a few good days. A couple of solid south swells was our best offering this month so here's the pick of it. Later Elliot Brown up and out there Can not say enough good things about Farm Jam !! Chin up mate its pumping!! Look the other way Opportunity Corey Clements Blurred lines Justin Anderson Elliot Brown Hacking Set
